Group 1 | the group of the shepards to which the beauceron belongs. All races are classified in groups. There are 10 group in total: big watch dogs, hunting dogs, companion dogs, etc. |
To grant a national title each country has his own rules, but a number of CAC will always be necessary to be able to participate at the championschip, some times the CAC need to be won in minimum of time, sometimes in a maximum of time |

To gain the title of international beauty champion a minimum of 3 CACIB must have been granted by three different judges in at least 3 different countries + one RCI 1 (because beauceron are part of the group of the working dogs), and this in a time period of minimum 12 months |

To become international show champion a minimum of 4 CACIB must have been granted by 3 different judges in at least 3 different countries and this in a time period of at least 1 year |

The “cotations” (quotations) only exist in France and go from “cotation 1” till “cotation 6” | |
To gain cotation 3 (Excellent) the following things are required: Excelent in morphology in a regional of national racespecial Be free of hip dysplasia (HD-A of HD-B) DNA (genetically) identified. |
